Commond buzzard (Buteo buteo) is... very common 
Our most numerous bird of prey. Nests in woodland, but hunts in open areas as meadows and fields. Feeds on small mammals, in winter often on carrion. Very various in colors, but mosty with dark brown back and spotted or barred belly. I've also seen a very light bird with many white spots, and the other one all sandy yellow without any spots or bars. It is also well known that there are present some individuals, that are completely white with blue eyes.
It's summer and it's very hot, I barely can stand it. So I miss winter a little So this is the main reason why this picture is winter-based.

incredible for a 2006 digital painting. This was beyond its time. Pls revisit this subject of common buzzard with your today skills. We have the privilege to admire and observe an eagle in miniature actually a bird pretty much everywhere outside urban center . This doesnt make it less regal and beautiful than any exotic species or than some of the rarest.
